Star FerryI took my first Star Ferry ride in 1967 when it was the only way to go from Kowloon, on the mainland, to Victoria Island.I enjoy it as much today, although we now have three tunnels that let you travel under the harbor by car or public train. The Star Ferry is one of the great transportation memories of the world asnd it's still just HK$2.20, about US$0.30. This photo was shot from the roof of Ocean Terminal. |
