Peak Tower

When you catch the funicular railway -- the Peak Tram -- in Central, you'll ride up one of the world's most scenic rails journeys... for the ten minutes that it lasts.
I hadn't been up to the Peak since they finished this new terminus and it's a disorienting affair once you get off the tram. You used to walk right outside but now you're guided through a warren of levels and curio shops with directions to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and Movenpick Restaurant and Ripley's Believe It or Not, but no signs to show you the way out of this fun house.
So your first tip is to take the escalator up one level, to Level 4, and walk forward and then left out into the open air.
     Welcome to the Peak.
