Slope work

We're undergoing massive slope redevelopment at the moment. Being the hilly place it is, Hong Kong is prone to rockslides, mudslides, landslides and occasionally houseslides during the rainy season. For years, we've kept the slides at bay by shotcreting the slopes -- smoothing them out and candy-coating them with a layer of concrete shot from high-powered hoses. With a new environmental awareness, we're revisiting the slopes, peeling off the concrete layer and replacing it with layers of green mesh and woven wire before planting grass seed.
The new slopes look great but where there's work in progress, there is also single-file traffic and a certain amount of waiting at improvised traffic lights. When I'm driving alone, I keep my camera in the driver's seat so I have something to do while I'm waiting.
